Yes. The USB port on the back of this keyboard is a fully functional USB 2.0 port. It can be used for charging, transferring data or connecting a mouse. One of the connectors on the keyboard cable (black) is for the USB port on the keyboard and the other (white) is for the keyboard itself. FAQ: KHX-072017-KBE-01
You can do this in two ways. One is with the buttons on the keyboard. Press and hold the three top left buttons (brightness, profile, game mode) until the light at the top of the keyboard flashes. This will reset the onboard lighting profiles back to default.

The other reset option is with the Ngenuity software. Click on the settings icon at the top of the window. Then click on the “Restore to factory Default Settings” button. This will not only restore the onboard lighting profiles back to default, it will also remove all of the custom profiles you created. If you saved them to your computer, you can restore them by using the import/export feature. FAQ: KHX-011618-KBRGB-01

The keyboard will have three lighting profiles programmed into the keyboard. These are available via the profile button on the keyboard even if you have it connected to a computer without the NGenuity software installed. You can use this software to customize these profiles.

First, click on one of the preset profiles and drag it to the custom profile section just above them.

Then click on “customize” to make changes to it. Once you are done with your changes, click “apply”. Then go back the profile section and drag this modified profile back to the preset profile section.
